Volunteer Opportunities Available

Become a Board Member
We are looking for a volunteer board member to help provide fiduciary oversight, guidance, and strategic planning for the agency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and possess skills or connections such as accounting, legal, non-profit management, fundraising, advocacy, etc.

Prepare a Meal
Have an old (or new) family recipe you like to make? Does your teenager have community service hours they are required to complete? Why not volunteer to make a meal (or a dish or even dessert) for one of our homes. Most of our homes support 4 individuals and have 2 staff on site at any given time so we request something that will serve at least 6 adults.

Clerical Assistants
Filing, data entry, updating our activity calendar, etc.

Fundraisers/Drive Organizers
We always need volunteers to help organize drives for items we need (toiletries, winter gloves, clothing, etc). And of course, we always need volunteers to help spread the word of the valuable work we do and help raise funds to do it better.

Social Media Volunteer
If you can't get enough of social media, we would love to borrow some of your talents. Help us get the word out about how awesome CLA is.

Activity Facilitator
Volunteer to lead one of our monthly virtual activity nights. Some of the activities we have done are BINGO, wreath making, carving pumpkins, and learning the Macarena. We would love to have someone join in for the fun and lead an hour long activity.
